Named after the region in which the coffee is grown, the Yirgacheffe coffee is renowned as arguably the best variant of coffee in the world. It is grown at an altitude above 2,000 MASL which allows the coffee's flavour to mature longer as the higher altitude slows the growing process.
Grade 1
If having the best variant of coffee from Ethiopia wasn't enough. Our Yirgacheffe coffee is rated Grade 1. This is the highest rating that could possibly be given to coffee beans. The result is a cup of coffee that boasts floral and fruity notes with undertones of berry and mild acidity.
Single Origin
Our coffee is single origin. As a result of this each batch of coffee can be traced to a specific region where it was grown, picked and processed.
Packaging
Our coffee is stored in packaging with one way valves. This allows carbon dioxide to escape without letting oxygen in. It ensures that the coffee is fresh for as long as possible after it has been roasted.
